Nice atmosphere. Pleasant service. Good food. I really liked the tomato bisque soup. I got a bowl of it to go for my wife, who has been in the hospital for a month, she really loved it too. My wife is not doing very well and when I can do anything to make her happy, it is like a bandaid for my soul.
I will be back for more soup, and another bandaid.

Flew in for a wedding in Wisconsin and had a moment to stop by this wonderful breakfast place. Booth seating was perfect and our server was so friendly - we greatly appreciated the recommendation for specials. Ended up with the pumpkin pancakes on special and build your own omelet (so hard to decide with many great options!). Food came out quickly and tasted absolutely perfect. Highly recommend!

Wow, that’s the place to for breakfast (and it’s just a short walk from the Intercontinental hotel) with uber-friendly service, cooked to order meals, XXL espresso drinks and even a full bar. Cakes galore and look at those cinnamon rolls!

This is a nice cafe and bakery. The food was fine. I got a hamburger and fries. Burger was ok. Fries were great! This is a sit down tyoe of place. My orders got mixed up and they handled it.

mashed potatoes were exactly that and the gravy was excellent- not that brown goop that some restaurants slop on things… I also tried their Monte Cristo sandwich and was pleased with it as well… The house made cakes and pies are extremely Drool Worthy!!… The Dutch Apple Pie was a different, but good spin with the Carrot Cake & German Chocolate being Outstanding… Both cakes were moist, rich and properly iced to bring out the flavors… Coffee is excellent as well… Our server Miles was a great resource when deciding items to order and Tyree, the Kitchen Mgr & Cook was an engaging and enthusiastic host… Great Food, Great Service and Great Atmosphere along with being Family Owned and staffed…

On top of that, they have the classic "service charge" on top of your bill. Certainly, this isn't on the server, but a reflection of Keys, the City of St. Paul, and the economic times.
So anyway, if you needed another reason to visit other than the food is incredible, they are really nice folks, too.

OMG this place is a hidden gem! We had the best food and service that we have had in a long time. It wasn’t what we expected from a Cafe & Bakery but everything we ordered was so amazing that our plates were completely clean (even though the portions of food were big)! I had the tomato bisque soup with a grilled cheese made from homemade bread. This was a perfect combination! Yum yum and then some! The carrot cake was the kind you search for but never can find! Our service was excellent and the place is very family friendly. I highly recommend Keys Cafe & Bakery on Roberts St in downtown St. Paul, MN.

Delicious food, friendly waitress, free parking - good experience. Things to note, the kids meal only comes with one small french toast piece- i didn’t know that by looking at the menu. My kids were still hungry. Even though it comes with a side- they got fruit. But overall, a lovely restaurant & bakery. We will return.

We had a quick bite here before attending the History Theater. A charming, updated diner feel. The extensive menu includes breakfast and dinner items all day. We had blueberry pancakes, and a cup of chicken and dumpling soup and salad. Pie to go! Everything was tasty.

Stopped in for dinner before a show next door at Camp. Super convenient. We've been here a few times previously. Staff was attentive and friendly. I had the Monte Cristo with tots and it was really good. Ate half and took the rest home for lunch the next day. Friends enjoyed their food as well.. Chicken tenders, chili, soup. A little sticker shock when we got the bill . It was $70 for the three of us (with tip). Not out of line, just snuck up on us. 😁. I'd go again for sure!

Attentive and friendly staff. Our server knew the menu as if she had created the whole place herself. Everyone was top notch. The Loon Omelet is delicious! I'm coming back for that again.

It was pretty busy but the staff was clearly superior as there was no waiting or wanting for anything.
